- 1 baguette or crusty Italian bread slices
- 8 oz fresh burrata cheese
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Additional olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush each bread slice with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Toast for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped basil, and olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Top toasted bread slices with the tomato mixture. Tear burrata into pieces and place on top. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Garnish with additional basil and olive oil before serving.
