  • 8 oz (225g) Asian noodles or your favorite pasta
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
  • Optional: sliced red chili for heat

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the beef against the grain and marinate with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 teaspoon sesame oil for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add a splash of sesame oil to the same skillet, toss in the cooked noodles, and pour the sauce mixture over. Stir to coat evenly, then add the beef back to the skillet. Cook everything together for 2 more minutes until the sauce thickens and flavors meld.
