Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chopped apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over the warm fritters before serving.
Notes
- You can add chopped nuts or raisins to the batter for extra texture and flavor.
