Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 3 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken slices with cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce, tossing to combine and coat evenly.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by varying the amount of cajun seasoning.
- For a healthier version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt or coconut milk.
