Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or sliced beef strips
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional for richer flavor)
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (for finishing)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and grated ginger. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef or sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return cooked beef to the skillet. Pour in the honey garlic sauce. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and coated with sauce.
- Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red chili flakes or sriracha to the sauce.
- Use sliced beef strips instead of ground beef for a more authentic stir-fry texture.
- Pair with cauliflower rice for a low-carb meal.
