- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Transfer beef mixture to a slow cooker. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes, add uncooked elbow macaroni. Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef for a leaner version.
- Add a dash of hot sauce for extra spice.
- Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
