- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp black peppercorns, crushed
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Scallions, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add onions and bell peppers to the wok; stir-fry until slightly tender.
- Add garlic and crushed black peppercorns; cook for 1 minute.
- Return beef to the wok, add oyster sauce and sugar; stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped scallions.

- Adjust black pepper for spiciness preference.
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
