- 1 lb cooked pulled beef
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley or chives)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and translucent.
- Add pulled beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Allow to cool slightly.
- Cut puff pastry sheet into squares or circles. Place a spoonful of beef filling in the center of each piece.
- Fold the pastry over to seal, pinching edges or crimping with a fork. Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Arrange on prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
