Ingredients
Scale
- 200g graham crackers or digestive biscuits
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 600g cream cheese, softened
- 200g granulated sugar
- 200ml sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 100g honey
- 150g pistachios, chopped
- 200g phyllo dough or baklava layers
- Extra honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F). Crush graham crackers and combine with melted butter; press into a springform pan to form crust. Bake for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, honey, and mix well. Incorporate eggs one at a time, blending after each addition.
- Pour filling over the crust. Layer with torn pieces of phyllo or baklava for added texture.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until set. Let cool completely.
- Top with chopped pistachios and drizzle with honey before serving. Chill at least 2 hours for best flavor.
Notes
- Using store-bought phyllo simplifies the process but ensures crispiness.
- Chill the cheesecake thoroughly to set properly before serving.
- Garnish with additional pistachios or honey for presentation.
