- 20 large pasta shells
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta shells until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, sautéed spinach, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the spinach-ricotta mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Top the stuffed shells with marinara sauce and sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- You can add crushed red pepper flakes for extra spice.
- Use fresh spinach for best flavor. Substitute with frozen spinach if needed, drain well.
- Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
