Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
- Start by cutting the chicken into uniform strips for even cooking and crispy texture.
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then egg, and coat thoroughly with the seasoned panko mixture, pressing the breading onto the chicken.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on a lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for the best crispy coating.
- Lightly spray the tenders with oil to enhance browning.
- Preheat your oven for even baking.
- Allow the tenders to rest a few minutes before serving.
