- 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and thyme. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Once melted, add pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and remaining butter to the pan, and baste the chops with garlic butter sauce for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

- Ensure pork chops are at room temperature before cooking for even searing.
- You can add a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor.
