Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until dough comes together.
- Roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
- Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters or a glass.
- Arrange cookies on prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on wire racks before serving.
