- 1/3 cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing thoroughly.
- Sift in cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in flour until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For extra richness, add chocolate chips or nuts to the batter.
