- 1/4 cup ice water
- 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine flour and cold butter, cutting in until crumbly.
- Add ice water gradually until dough forms. Divide dough into small balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out each ball into thin circles. Place in mini muffin tins.
- Mix sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spoon onto the crusts.
- Cover with another crust circle or crimp edges. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use cold butter for flaky crusts.
- Adjust sugar based on apple sweetness.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
