Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, then fold in sour cream and chopped apples.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for topping and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
