- 2 cups cooked macaroni pasta
- 1 cup shredded cooked chicken BBQ style
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in shredded cheddar, Parmesan, BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper until melted and combined.
- Add cooked pasta and shredded chicken to the sauce, mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and crispy chicken bits if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute the cheese with your favorite cheese blends for variation.
- For extra smoky flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika.
