- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz (225 g) Brie cheese wheel
- 1/4 cup honey
- 8-10 fresh figs, sliced
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Place the Brie wheel in the center.
- Fold the pastry over the Brie, trimming any excess, and seal the edges.
- Brush the pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Place the wrapped Brie on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Serve immediately with additional honey and fresh figs on the side.
- You can add chopped walnuts or candied pecans inside for extra crunch.
