- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces cooked lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning.
- Add in cooked lasagna noodles, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer until heated through.
- Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh basil for best flavor. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- You can substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter option.
