Delicious creamy seafood stuffed shells are the perfect comforting dish combining tender pasta, succulent seafood, and rich sauce, topped with melted cheese and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 pound cooked crab meat or shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add chopped seafood and cook until just done.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, cooked seafood, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  6. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and pour over stuffed shells.
  7. Sprinkle with extra cheese and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • You can substitute shrimp or scallops for crab meat for variation.
