Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces penne or preferred pasta
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown, about 6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet. Toss in cooked pasta and coat everything in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
