A comforting and romantic chicken pasta dish with a rich, creamy sauce, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked pasta, ideal for date nights and family dinners.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces penne or preferred pasta
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown, about 6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet. Toss in cooked pasta and coat everything in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
