- 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add broth and bring to a boil.
- Add pasta to the boiling broth, cook until al dente, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cook until heated through and slightly thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Stir in cooked chicken or sautéed vegetables for extra protein and flavor.
