- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add chicken strips and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce, tossing to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
- Adjust the cream to make the sauce thinner or thicker according to preference.
- You can add sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
