Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- If sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth or milk to loosen.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle additional parmesan and herbs before serving.
