- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to skillet, cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Return cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to combine with the shrimp and garlic butter sauce.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the pasta, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with parsley before serving.
