Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onions until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Spread half of the mashed potatoes in the bottom of a lightly greased slow cooker.
  3. Layer cooked beef over mashed potatoes, then add remaining mashed potatoes on top.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
