- 1 pound (450g) cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 9 ounces (255g) cheese tortellini
- 2 cups (480ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place shredded cooked chicken in the crockpot.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
- Add tortellini and mozzarella cheese. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on high for another 30 minutes until tortellini is tender.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Use fresh tortellini for better texture.
- Ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly before shredding.
