Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225g) of your favorite pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
- 2 large chicken breasts, diced
- 6 slices of crispy bacon, chopped
- 1 cup of ranch dressing
- 1 cup of heavy cream or whole milk for a lighter option
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
- In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain, then chop into small pieces.
- Saute minced garlic in the skillet until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add ranch dressing and heavy cream, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the sauce, stirring to combine. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with milk or a dairy-free alternative.
- Use cooked, shredded rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or chives for added flavor.
