- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cook until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and cook until browned.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, chicken broth, flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked vegetables and shredded chicken to the sauce mixture, stir well.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish, bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Use full-fat sour cream for creaminess.
- Serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
