- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 strips bacon
- 4 burger buns
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Pickles
- Ketchup and mustard
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook patties for about 4 minutes on each side until done.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- While burgers cook, fry bacon strips until crispy.
- Toast burger buns lightly.
- Assemble the burgers: place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, add the beef patty with melted cheese, top with bacon, tomato slices, pickles, and condiments.
- Cover with the top bun and serve hot.
