Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or your favorite melting cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup fresh spinach or lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced (optional)
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
- Optional: creamy dressing or ranch for serving
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Rest briefly, then slice into thin strips.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Return chicken strips to the skillet, tossing to coat with garlic-infused oil.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread shredded cheese in the center, then add garlic chicken slices. Top with chopped spinach or lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and herbs. Roll up tightly, folding in the sides.
- For extra melty cheese, heat the assembled wraps in a skillet over low heat until cheese melts, or finish in a preheated air fryer for crispy, cheesy perfection.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for optimal aroma and flavor.
- Choose meltable cheeses like mozzarella, cheddar, or a cheese blend.
- Warm tortillas slightly before assembling to prevent cracking.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or hot sauce for spice.
