Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla; beat until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut out pumpkin shapes with a cookie cutter or freehand using a knife.
- Place cookies on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Fill a piping bag with melted milk chocolate and pipe faces onto the pumpkin cookies.
- Decorate with orange icing for the pumpkin’s face and green icing for stems.
- Let the decorations set before serving.
