Discover the ultimate s’mores bars recipe—an easy s’mores bars treat that combines gooey marshmallows, rich chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers for any occasion. Perfect for camping or dessert!

  • Total Time: 28 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • Optional: crushed graham crackers or chocolate shavings for topping
  • KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer — Perfect for mixing your crust and ensuring even ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Add the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased baking pan to create a firm crust. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes to set the crust.
  2. Once the crust cools slightly, sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the baked crust. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the chocolate melts and becomes glossy.
  3. Remove the pan from the oven and evenly distribute the mini marshmallows over the melted chocolate. For an extra toasted flavor, you can briefly broil the marshmallows until golden brown, but watch carefully to prevent burning.
  4. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate the bars for about 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for richer flavor.
  • Try adding a layer of peanut butter or caramel for added indulgence.
  • For outdoor enthusiasts, these bars taste just as amazing cooked over a campfire!
  • For a crunchier topping, sprinkle crushed graham crackers or chocolate shavings on top before serving.
