- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 tbsp simple syrup
- Fresh mint leaves
- Salt for rimming
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Muddle blackberries and mint leaves in a shaker.
- Add tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice.
- Shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Rim the glass with salt and strain the cocktail into the glass.
- Garnish with additional blackberries and mint.
Notes
Use fresh blackberries for the best flavor. Adjust sweetness with more or less simple syrup. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute tequila with lemonade.
