- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add beef chunks and brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Stir in paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Add the beef back to the pot along with sliced bell peppers and diced tomatoes.
- Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until beef is tender.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot with crusty bread or potatoes.

- You can substitute beef with pork for a different flavor.
