- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Orange zest and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Beat eggs in a bowl. Dip chicken in egg, then coat with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer.
- Add cornstarch mixture to the sauce, stirring until thickened.
- Add fried chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Garnish with orange zest and sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
