- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
- You can add nuts or caramel chips for variation.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
