Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form ground beef into four equal patties; season with salt and pepper.
- Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and let melt.
- Toast burger buns lightly on the grill if desired.
- Assemble burgers by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, add the cooked patty with melted cheese, then top with bacon, tomato, onion, ketchup, and mustard. Cover with top bun.
- Serve immediately with fries or your favorite side.
