Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour chicken broth over it.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside. To make gravy, whisk flour into heavy cream and pour into the slow cooker juices.
  5. Cook on high for 10-15 minutes until gravy thickens.
  6. Serve chicken topped with gravy and garnish with fresh parsley.
