Discover how to make delicious spaghetti garlic bread bowls—an easy, flavorful dinner option that combines tender pasta with crispy garlic bread. Perfect for family dinners or entertaining friends!

  • Total Time: 30 mins
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound of your favorite spaghetti
  • 1 cup marinara sauce or your preferred pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 loaf of Italian bread or baguette
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the loaf of Italian bread in half lengthwise and brush generously with melted butter mixed with minced garlic. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and chopped parsley for extra flavor. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  2. Cook your spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Keep warm.
  3. Once the garlic bread is crispy, carefully hollow out most of the bread creating a well, being cautious not to poke holes. Fill each bread boat with the seasoned spaghetti mixture. Top with extra cheese if desired. Bake assembled boats for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the tops for a burst of flavor. Serve hot, slicing into the garlic bread to reveal the hearty, cheesy spaghetti inside.

Notes

  • Ensure the bread is hollowed out carefully to avoid breaking the shell.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the spaghetti mixture.
