- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into strips
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (for thickening)
Instructions
- Place the sliced beef, bell peppers, onions, and garlic into the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
- In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water and add to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute flank steak with sirloin or skirt steak for value and flavor.
- Adjust chili flakes for spiciness level.
- For thicker sauce, add more cornstarch dissolved in water.
