Enjoy this quick and easy Sheet Pan Cheesy Ranch Potatoes & Smoked Sausage, a flavorful weeknight dinner that combines crispy roasted potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and melted cheese, all baked on one convenient sheet pan for minimal clean-up.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 large russet potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Wash and cube the potatoes evenly; slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes, sausage, olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared sheet pan.
  5. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sour cream and parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the seasoning and cheese quantity to taste.
  • Use turkey sausage or kielbasa as a substitute for smoked sausage.
  • For a healthier option, opt for low-fat cheese and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
