Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the beef pieces generously with salt, pepper, and optional herbs for extra flavor.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sear until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add dried thyme or rosemary if desired.
- Return the seared beef to the skillet, tossing to coat thoroughly with the garlic butter sauce. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors. Sprinkle red pepper flakes for heat, if using.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, serve hot. Pair with vegetables, rice, or salad for a balanced meal.
Notes
- Allow the beef to cool before storing. Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a skillet or microwave, adding a splash of water or broth to maintain moisture.
- Adjust seasoning and herbs to taste for personalized flavor.
