- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Sour cream and salsa for serving
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; add taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a surface, distribute a layer of cooked beef, top with cheese, onions, and tomatoes.
- Cover with another tortilla, press gently, and cook in a heated skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
- Slice into wedges and garnish with cilantro, serve with sour cream and salsa.
Notes
- Make sure not to overfill the quesadillas to prevent tearing during cooking.
- You can add sliced jalapenos or avocado for extra flavor.
