- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pork, bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes or until browned.
- Simmer cooked meatballs in marinara sauce for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes to the meat mixture. For a low-carb option, serve with zucchini noodles instead of pasta.
