- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
- In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture on top and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and moisture.
- Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for variation.
