  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic until cooked through.
  2. Transfer beef mixture to the Crockpot, add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Once noodles are tender, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cover and cook until cheese melts.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
