- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon garlic butter over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or lemon juice during cooking.
- You can substitute dried thyme with rosemary or basil for variation.
