Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and salt, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Boil for 5-7 minutes without stirring, until the toffee reaches 300°F (149°C) on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the hot toffee onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts and holiday sprinkles on top while still warm.
- Allow toffee to cool completely and then break into pieces.
