  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In a separate large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, beating until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, mixing until Dough forms.
  5. Divide dough in half, flatten into discs, wrap in plastic, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out dough on a floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
  7. Cut out cookies with a round cutter and use a smaller cutter to make a heart or circle window in half of them.
  8. Place on lined baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Cool cookies completely. Spread Nutella on the bottom of the whole cookies, then sandwich with the cutout cookies. Fill the centers with raspberry jam.
